Kathryn Peperkorn, Soprano
Kathryn Peperkorn has been a successful performer and teacher for over 30 years. Her students have received music scholarships and admittance to schools such as Julliard, Mannes, Curtis Institute, Cincinnati Conservatory, St. Olaf, and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Students have showcased their talents as Miss Teen USA, Miss Wisconsin, and a top 10 Miss America contestant, as well as on stages of The Comedy Tour. Peperkorn’s stage directing and conducting work have led to over 25 operas and musical performances for students and young professionals. Possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in both Band and Choir and a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance. Mrs. Peperkorn’s stage and concert performances have included work in Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, and Chiari, Italy as well as choral performances throughout the United States and Germany. Her opera roles include: Norma, Mimi in La Boheme, Violetta in La Traviata, Marguerite in Faust, the Witch in Hansel and Gretel, as well as seven years as a chorus member of Florentine Opera of Milwaukee including the Grammy Award winning recording of Elmer Gantry. Currently Mrs. Peperkorn teaches in her private studio “Peperkorn Studios” as well as teaches choir and classroom music at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School. In Spring 2025 Mrs. Peperkorn will be performing in the one women opera “Katie Luther” by Glenn Winters, with more performances throughout the United States in the Fall.

Makenna Landrey, Piano
Makenna Landrey began her music instruction in 2010, at the age of 9, when she began taking piano lessons in Albuquerque, NM. With the goal of leading worship in her home church, she began organ lessons in 2015. Mrs. Landrey graduated with her Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Concordia University, Nebraska, in May 2023, where she studied piano under Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo and organ under Dr. Jeffrey Blersch. She performed works composed by Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Fauré, and Kapustin. Upon her college graduation, Mrs. Landrey accompanied soloists, choirs, and musicals in Seward and Lincoln, Nebraska, and she led worship services on organ and piano for churches and conferences, including for the annual Consortium of Classical Lutheran Education summer conference. She also taught piano lessons through a local music studio and served as a church music intern at Zion Lutheran Church in Omaha. Mrs. Landrey now resides in Fort Wayne, IN, with her husband and daughter, where she accompanies soloists and choirs and teaches private piano lessons in her home studio.
